To enhance our development team, we are looking for an engaged and motivated PHP Developer (f/m).
Backend PHP Developers hold an essential role at Webgears. We are responsible for realising innovative ideas. Thus we continuously improve our admin interface ‘CDN’ (Coupon Delivery Network), which is used by all of our staff, as well as 70+ freelancers. We also implement new features for our coupon websites, which in turn are used by over 4 million users from Germany, Great Britain and the USA each month.
Our products are mainly written in Symfony2 and the MySQL databank is approached through Doctrine. Quality is very important to us and we aim to always use the best technology to solve our tasks. We use automatized tests that cover the critical functionality and are happy to place ourselves at the disposal for code reviews. As PHP Developers we have a basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS. We work in a cross-functional Scrum-Team. Good communicational skills, English skills and the ability to work in a team are important and encouraged.
